An admin page says access is not allowed
Sign in with an administrator account and open ZEISMO SEO from the main WordPress menu. In v1.0.2, older ZEISMO admin links route to their matching control panel tabs while preserving administrator access checks.
- Confirm the installed version.
Open Plugins and check the ZEISMO SEO version. Update an older installation through the normal WordPress update flow.
- Use the main menu.
Open the current plugin dashboard rather than a stale bookmark. Navigate to the tool using its sidebar tab.
- Ask your administrator if access is still denied.
A subscriber or editor role does not automatically have permission to manage the plugin. Do not remove access controls to work around the message.
Changes disappear or analysis does not refresh
SEO fields in the post editor must be saved with WordPress's Save or Update action. Settings screens have their own Save changes button.
- Keep a copy of your unsaved wording.
If an analysis request fails, copy important unsaved text before reloading.
- Save and reopen.
Confirm the WordPress save succeeded, then reopen the page and check the fields.
- Check the analysis status.
An old score during a failed refresh is not a new result. Review any message and retry after checking your connection.
- Check caches if the public page is older.
A cached public response can differ from the saved editor state. Clear the relevant site cache and verify again.
A page does not appear in search
Check that the page is published, WordPress Settings → Reading is appropriate for a public site, and the page's advanced SEO settings do not request noindex. Review sitemap exclusions and open the public sitemap.
AI or an account connection is unavailable
Open Plans to check the account state and remaining tasks. Read the specific error before retrying. If registration reports an existing account, use the existing-account connection flow in Settings.
An account service error during setup does not mean your local preferences were discarded. Confirm your saved settings, then connect the account later.
Update and review release notes
- Read what changed.
Open the public changelog and review the release relevant to your installation.
- Back up your site.
Use your normal backup process before installing an update, especially on an established customer-facing site.
- Install the offered update.
Use WordPress Dashboard → Updates or the Plugins screen. In the marketplace build, Check for updates in ZEISMO SEO can refresh the release check.
- Confirm the version and key pages.
After updating, verify the installed version, open the plugin dashboard and review an important public page.
Common questions
Can I use two SEO plugins together?
Overlapping SEO plugins can output duplicate tags. Verify a migration, then keep the SEO plugin you intend to use active.
Why is a feature marked Planned?
It is not implemented in this release. Upgrading does not turn a planned feature into an available one.
Does a score of 100 guarantee a ranking?
No. The score summarizes the plugin's checks, not a measured position or future traffic.
Where is Arabic or mobile support?
Change the plugin language in Settings → Brand or use the dashboard language toggle. The control panel adapts to smaller screens; wide tables may scroll inside their containers.
What about a page builder?
Manage SEO from the standard WordPress edit screen for that page. Check that the analyzed text matches your page content. Builder compatibility varies, so review your own page after saving.
Do I have to connect AI to finish setup?
No. The account step is optional. You can finish local setup and connect later.
