Local inspection stays on your device

When you choose Inspect page, the extension reads the selected top-level page URL, metadata, headings, image attributes and structured data to create a local report. URL credentials, query strings and fragments are omitted from reports. No account is needed. No browser history, cookies, passwords or form values are requested. The response-time indicator reads the browser’s last document-load timing without sending a ping or extra request.

Optional ZEISMO account sign-in

Version 1.1.0 adds an optional AI workspace. Sign-in opens app.zeismo.com, where you approve the connection. The extension never receives your password, payment details, WordPress connection keys or AI provider credentials. It receives your account email, SEO plan and usage, and a short-lived access token. Local inspection continues to work without login.

What is sent for an AI request

Opening the AI workspace can copy the inspected title, description and selected visible headings into an editable draft on your device. Nothing is sent until you review the fields, select a tool, confirm consent and click Generate suggestion. Only the selected task, title, focus phrase and reviewed text are submitted. The extension does not automatically upload the page URL, full DOM, images, browsing history or form values. Remove confidential or personal information from anything you type or paste.

ZEISMO and Anthropic processing

ZEISMO processes explicitly submitted AI text through its existing Anthropic service to generate suggestions. Processing may involve international transfers under applicable terms. Provider retention follows the applicable Anthropic terms; we do not claim zero provider retention. AI responses are displayed as text and never executed or automatically applied to websites. You remain responsible for checking facts and deciding what to publish.

Plans, usage and credits

Optional AI uses your ZEISMO SEO plan, existing account-wide allowance ceiling and shared purchased-credit wallet. The extension does not buy plans or credits. Successful requests use included allowance or available credits. Interrupted requests are never automatically retried; refresh usage before starting another if the outcome is uncertain.

Session storage and retention

Connection tokens, temporary drafts, pending-request markers and AI results use trusted Chrome session storage. They are not synchronized between browsers or stored as browsing history. They clear when the browser session ends. The token expires within eight hours; sign-out clears the local token/results and requests server revocation. If offline, server revocation cannot be confirmed until expiry. Changing the ZEISMO account password invalidates the session. A transferred draft is removed from storage after opening the workspace. Copied or downloaded reports remain under your control.

Server security records

ZEISMO stores hashed one-time codes and connection tokens, account identifiers, expiry information, and AI request identifiers/statuses for security and duplicate prevention. The extension request ledger does not store request text. Expired connection records are pruned on subsequent connection operations. Request metadata is retained for duplicate prevention; account and usage records follow ZEISMO account retention policies. Contact support@zeismo.com about access or deletion requests.

Permissions and control

activeTab and scripting permit temporary user-triggered page inspection. identity opens first-party ZEISMO sign-in. storage supports trusted session continuity. The app.zeismo.com host permission is used for account and AI requests, not unrestricted browsing. No advertising analytics, sale of data or remote executable code is included. You can sign out, keep using local inspection, or remove the extension in Chrome. Removing the extension does not delete your separate ZEISMO account.

Existing 1.0.x installations

Versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.2 have no account connection or remote AI and do not transmit page content to ZEISMO or Anthropic. The optional connected behavior above applies only after installing version 1.1.0 or later and expressly choosing it.

Limited use

Accessed information is used only to provide the requested inspection, account and AI features. We do not sell user data or use it for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions.
